Pink Floyd

For many years I have been a fan of this great rock band thanks mainly to the influence of a guy named Stewart who I used to work with at Mission Electronics in Huntingdon, England. Those were some pretty wild days…

Since then I have amassed a significant collection of LP’s (those big black plastic things), CD’s, DVD’s & Videos. Unfortunately though I haven’t seen them live in-person in concert.

Since moving to New Zealand though I have been lucky enough to see a great cover band called The Pink Floyd Experience who only a couple of years ago did a concert in Auckland in which they did a full rendition of ‘The Wall’ which was absolutely amazing not only musically, but also technically, as they had all the bells and whistles heaps of lights, lazers and gizmoes.

They even built a wall on stage much like the original band. I tell you if you closed your eyes during the concert you could almost imagine yourself at the real thing…
