The painters have been onsite…

So we arrive home after a bit of a mix-up with flights from Auckland to find out that the painters have been onsite at the Corps. Which on one level is awesome as they will get to fix up the cracks…

However, it also causes a few issues – clean-up, putting the Hall back together and sorting through some of the things that we have been putting off for a rainy day…

Well I guess that rainy day is here but the thing is I’m off on Saturday to Auckland again for a week long Conference.

So I guess I’ve got a few early mornings & late nights coming up so that I can get it sorted as well as getting the Stats updated and AMPED & IMPACT Youth Groups term plan completed among other things…

Waiting at Christchurch Airport…

So here I am again waiting at Christchurch Airport for a flight to Auckland. Over the past month I have frequented it quite a bit – 2 visits to Auckland & 1 to Wellington (6 flights in 3 weeks). And this month I’ll be away from home more than I’m here as we are heading up north for two weeks of school holidays, spending time in the Coromandel & Auckland. Then I’m home for a week before heading back up to Auckland for a week long conference…

Shame that most of the flights don’t qualify for frequent flyer airpoints though…

While on these school holidays I’ve been told no computer – we’ll see how long that lasts… Just as well I can access email & internet on my phone – so might get the odd post in… Anyways gotta dash – boarding call!
