Many of you will be aware by now, that last year Annette & I recevied what The Salvation Army term as our ‘Marching Orders’. At the beginning of the year we relocated to a much larger Corps ‘South of the South’; Invercargill City is at the bottom of the South Island and as far as we can gather is the southern most Corps of The Salvation Army anywhere in the world… It is much larger than our previous appointments and is known within the Southern Division as a must-win centre – no pressure!
I’m just glad that we have God on our side, as with Him as our guide and as our provision anything is possible – We also firmly believe that ifwe draw close to Him and allow Him to use us for His glory then we’ll see even greater things!
So over the coming weeks I’ll be sifting through the many pages of this blog; updating and rearranging some of the pages, so that the information contained on this site is not only up to date but is also relevant to our current ministry.
Invercargill Corps has a large array of ministries that reach out to the community and it is my prayer that through this site many more people will see what we have to offer and will be interested in finding out more so that they to can be a part of what God is doing in this place…
