Over the past few days you might have noticed a slight change of format for this blog, as I try to make things easier for you the reader. I have incorporated the following pages under the Invercargill Corps Page Heading as they are all a part of what we do in our Ministry: The Message, Life Groups, iNFUSED Youth. As well as adding another area called “The Power of Giving” which will contain information about the many volunteering opportunities that we have, along with information about the appeals (Self Denial Appeal) and fundraising that we are a part of.
In the coming weeks I’ll also be looking at incorporating a number of other links and additional pages to this Page Heading so that our congregational members have all the information that they need to keep them in the loop.
Currently we have a huge amount of stuff going on: the introduction of the Sunday Night Recovery Meeting; Relocation of the Tay Street Family Store to the former Lazerland site on Yarrow Street; Development of our Community Ministries @ Leven Street to assist those in need; as well as the continuing development of our Children’s and iNFUSED Youth ministries to name just a few.
Without the assistance of those that are stepping up and taking a lead we would not be able to impact the community around us with the love of Christ! So many thanks to those involved and may God continue to bless our endeavours as we do what we can “to bring people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ“.
