Thursday was the 2nd day of Boundless and although I was there for most of the 1st session I missed out on the message, looking at “A Unified Army”. This was due to Emily wanting to go to the Boundless Kids room. I had to accompany her as it is not a baby-sitting service, which in some ways is fair enough! So we will have to get copies of all the General Sessions which could prove invaluable as people back home will more than likely want to share in the music, drama and messages that are shared I’m sure… From the reports of others laterin the day it was well worth it.

In the afternoon we had a wander around the exhibits and I got some valuable information from SAHA (Salvation Army Housing Association) which provides emergency, temporary short & medium stay assistance and ongoing support for people affected by homelessness.

We also went to the end of the Jubilee line to Stratford for a quick wander around the mall as Emily has been wanting to do a spot of shopping – we didn’t spend to long there though and will more than likely head back tomorrow arvo for another visit as you can’t cover 4 floors of shops etc. In 1 hour (oh joy!)

We headed back to the O2 and had an all you can eat Brazilian bbq dinner where Emily definitely put some meat on her bones. (She made up for her mum and even put me to shame, being the last to turn over her coaster to tell the waiters to stop bringing meat to our table). Thanks heaps Jannette & Kevin for your company and picking up the bill – our shout tomorrow.

The evening session Annette accompanied Emily to Boundless Kids while I got to sit in on the whole session, which was celebrating “Founders’ Day”. During the session they also celebrated the life General Eva Burrows who was promoted to glory earlier this year & awarded her with the distiguished ‘Order of the Founder’. This session also saw the official launch of the new Songbook.

Commisioner William Cochrane, who is the International Secretary to the Chief of the Staff left us with the inspiring challenge to stand for Christ and do all we can to ‘Win the world for Jesus’. Will you do your part to make a difference in the lives of those that you come in contact with?
