This week we commence a new sermon series looking at the Resurrection Appearances as found in Luke 24. The first people to see that the tomb was empty were the women who took the spices that they had prepared to embalm the body of their beloved Jesus.

But to their astonishment the tomb was empty – He Is Risen!

Sunday 19 April

The words of our opening piece this morning are no doubt thoughts that went through the minds of the women that special morning and may be of encouragement to us today, as we continue to experience days of isolation.

Lord, there are times when the questions run fast – times when I fear that my faith may not last. Help me, support me, Lord, help me get through. Lead me through darkness till light shines anew.
