Prayer & Fasting

Wednesday (5th September) sees us hosting the next Prayer & Fasting gatherings from 6pm at the Hall.

So bring a plate of food to share as we break the fast together.

The theme for the day is the upcoming release of the Integrated Community Ministries Model for Christchurch.

This is being officially released to staff & volunteers on Thursday 20th September, and from that day forth throughout the Corps.  

As you fast and pray throughout the day do so with a special emphasis on the faith aspect of the model and what this means for our staff and volunteers. Also for confirmation for the leadership team that this model fits in with the overall Mission Plan for our future. That it is something that we as a Corps can incorporate to make a kingdom difference in this community. And that through it’s implementation and ongoing development we will be able to ‘see people find and follow Jesus and engage in mission’.

Prayer & Fasting

Tomorrow (Wednesday 7 March) sees us hosting the second of our Prayer & Fasting gatherings from 6pm. So bring a plate of food to share as we break the fast together.

The theme for the day is the upcoming Mission Review & Plan which we’ll be having on the 18th of March. As you fast and pray throughout the day do so with a special emphasis on this plan, for confirmation for the leadership team and DHQ team that this is the plan for our future and not just some idle wants and dreams. But that it is something that we as a Corps can do to make a kingdom difference in this community. That through the completion of the goals we will be able to ‘see people find and follow Jesus and engage in mission’.
