Today Emily has made an update on the Junior Soldiers page which contains a number of activities to download / print off and complete over this weekend, as well as an animated video explaining Pentecost.
Although this weekend we can’t gather together to celebrate Pentecost Sunday as we would normally do, maybe you can spend some time around the dining room table printing off the activities available and playing some games with the children in your care. Regardless if you are a junior soldier or not 🙂

Pentecost is a time to celebrate because it is the day we celebrate the ‘birthday’ of the church, the day the Holy Spirit came.
So why not celebrate it! There is no place better to celebrate it than in the home! So why not even throw a mini birthday party with some snack foods and cake.
Don’t forget their is also a range of activities and games that are available on the Children’s Ministry page that you can check out as well, that I hope our children will enjoy.
Also check out this resource that has been prepared by The Salvation Army NZFTS Children’s Ministry department for celebrating Pentecost at home with the family here.
Enjoy a fun and creative Pentecost celebration at home with the whole family. Explore a range of activities and enjoy the story of Pentecost.
