Over the school holidays we’re in Oxford doing the unit renovation – what is on the list of jobs to do is: extend the bathroom; raise the ceiling in the 2nd bedroom; and put a window in the 2nd bedroom.
So far we’ve taken the wall out of the bathroom and built a new one. Tomorrow we’ll finish the shower platform and step, put up the gib boards and then finalise the shower enclosure.
We’ve also dismantled the lowered ceiling in the 2nd bedroom and removed the door which led out into the garage. Tomorrow all going well we’ll get the ceiling done, board up the doorway and get the cupboard in.
Then to finish off the whole job we need to chase up the following: a sparky to do the wiring; a plumber to realign the pipe work for the new sink and a builder to install the window.
