This week as we conclude our sermon series looking at the Resurrection Appearances found in Luke 24, we turn our attention to the appearance of Jesus to the disciples in Jerusalem.

They were startled and frightened when Jesus revealed Himself to them.

For He had Risen from the dead and conquered the grave. He had fulfilled yet another prophecy. But did they truly believe it for themselves?

This week we commence a new sermon series looking at the Resurrection Appearances as found in Luke 24. The first people to see that the tomb was empty were the women who took the spices that they had prepared to embalm the body of their beloved Jesus.

But to their astonishment the tomb was empty – He Is Risen!
