One of the memories that came up on my facebook page the other day was this video from 2018 celebrating 125 years – Women’s Suffrage. A close friend and colleague was featured in the video and is serving The Salvation Army as an officer (minister / pastor) in Auckland.
On September 19, 2018 New Zealand celebrated, 125 years since we were the first country in the world, to redress an historic imbalance: to gain women’s suffrage – legally recognising women’s right to vote.
